Refund, Return & Warranty Policy


Return policy
If you have a product which is defective please follow the procedure as below:

    We do not normally give refund / exchange if you:
    - Simply change your mind, or
    - Make wrong decision, or
    - already knew of a particular fault, or
    - the goods are damaged after the purchase, or
    - no proof of purchase is offered

    We do provide refund / exchange / credit / repair where goods:
    - Have been wrong described
    - Do not do what they are supposed to
    - Have been sent to you were different as what you ordered

How do I request / notify an Refund, Return & or Warranty Claim
Please note if the product is NO FAULT FOUND for any warranty claim, a service fee up to $50 with extra shipping charge will be applied; and inspection / rejection fee at related authorized service centre also may be applied.

How can I be eligible for Refund, Return or Warranty Claim?
To be eligible for a refund, return or warranty claim, consumers must meet the following requirements:

• report the details of the fault and take the goods back to Gocomp Service Centre as soon as possible
• state what remedy you would like
• provide proof of purchase when returning the goods
• be sure that you did not cause the fault
• stop using the faulty item
• make sure you care for the goods while in possession.
• not affected by being used in an abnormal way. Such a use may be noted in the warranty as rendering it void, or it may be a use that you wouldn't reasonably expect the product to perform
• not disposed of, lost or destroyed. In other words, there needs to be proof that the product has failed
• not reduced in value by delay on the customer's part. Customers should bring faults to Gocomp's attention soon after they occur.

Gocomp.com.au keeps the rights to reject the refund, return or warranty claims if consumers:
• change their mind about a product. This includes when a consumer has found a cheaper product elsewhere, has bought a gift that is unsuitable, or their circumstances have changed and they no longer require the goods
• affected by being used in an abnormal way. Such a use may be noted in the warranty as rendering it void, or it may be a use that you wouldn't reasonably expect the product to perform
• are unable to provide the proof of purchase.
• are responsible for damaging the goods by not following the instructions, or misusing the product.

Restocking products
In some circumstances, we are happy to offer our consumers with the conditional courtesy return if consumers want to exchange the incorrect purchased products.
• Consumers notice Gocomp within the first 7 days after received the products.
• The products are not opened, used and still in the pristine condition.
• A Minimum restocking fee will be 20% (or higher)of the purchase price.
• Gocomp may reject the return after inspected the condition of the products, and return to the consumers at their expenses.

How do I receive my refund or store credit?
Any refund will be given to the consumer in the same payment method that the consumer used to purchase the item. For example, consumers cannot ask cash refund if they did not pay cash. Please note refunds can take up to 10 business days to process.

In some circumstances a consumer may only be entitled to a partial refund, for example, where the fault was not brought to the attention of the trader within a reasonable amount of time after the fault was discovered.

If the consumer has already had a reasonable amount of use from the goods, there may only be a partial refund.

Returning goods to Gocomp
Gocomp do not take the response for any damage or lost in transit when customer sends the product back to us for warranty or return, and also the warranty may void if the product is damaged in transit. So please pay attention when packing the product and sending it back to us.

For the RTB (return to base) warranty claims, consumers are required to send the unit back to Gocomp or the authorized service centre with the proof of purchase and the detailed fault description.

For the manufacturer pickup warranty claims, consumers are recommended to contact the manufacturer's technical support to lodge the warranty claims and get the pickup and delivery service. Please note, Gocomp do not provide the pickup service on the behalf of the manufacturer.

Special Orders, Clearance, Discontinued Items, Free products, Software and Consumable Products
Gocomp do not accept the return or exchange if consumers
• simply change their mind
• or made wrong decision
• or no longer required with the changed circumstances
• or found cheaper somewhere else
• or the goods are damaged after purchase

Also for the clearance, discontinued, or free product, it may comes with a limited warranty compared with the standard warranty. Please read the product description or contact us for more details.

Warranties
Before any warranty claim, consumers are requested to make sure the product is:

• not affected by being used in an abnormal way. Such a use may be noted in the warranty as rendering it void, or it may be a use that you wouldn't reasonably expect the product to perform
• not disposed of, lost or destroyed. In other words, there needs to be proof that the product has failed
• not reduced in value by delay on the customer's part. Customers should bring faults to your attention soon after they occur.

Gocomp is not a manufacturer or authorized service centre, it's recommended that you can contact the manufacturer's technical support for any troubleshooting or tech support before you send the product back to us for warranty claim, most of these supports are free and will provide you a manufacturer tech support case number which may be required and speed up the warranty procedure.

Gocomp keep the rights to apply the service fee for any warranty claims to cover all our costs if the returned product is not covered by warranty, such as no fault found or physical damaged, or cannot provide the proof of purchase.

Gocomp is happy to help the consumers to go through the warranty procedures by following the manufacturers' instructions. Some manufacturers provide the onsite or pickup and delivery services, such as the warranty services for notebooks and LCD monitors, consumers are recommended to contact the manufacturers' technical support directly for the fast turnaround and the cost saving shipping method. Following the privacy policy, sometime Gocomp cannot do all the warranty procedure on customer's behalf, such as to log a warranty job with the manufacturer with providing the consumer's name, phone number and address.

Ordering Policy


Website Price Policy
The prices shown on our website are subject to confirmation by Gocomp after an order is placed. Due to the large number of items on our website some items may have the price marked incorrectly due to human error or data entry error. Errors and Omissions are exempt.
Please wait for an email with an invoice from Gocomp staff confirming the price and availability of the items on your online order. Please do not make any payments until receipt of email requesting payment.

Back Orders and Price for Out of Stock Items
The website price for items which are not in stock is subject to change depending upon various factors such as currency exchange rate fluctuations and current price from suppliers. If an item is not in stock the price of that item is an indicative price and we cannot guarantee this price.

When backorder occurs is when we don't have the product in stock and will need to order it from our suppliers. This procedure generally takes 1 - 14 days for the stock to arrive at our warehouse. Usually when backorders occurs we will notify you the estimated time of arrival (ETA) by email or phone.
Front Door Pick Up and Order Policy
We are purely an online store only and therefore function differently from a traditional retail store

The following Policy is applied to help us help you.
- All orders are to be placed online only
- Walk in Customers will be charged at Store price which is higher than Online price.
- All our stores have a computer system with internet facility and customers are welcome to use this computer to place online orders and avail the online price
Backorders (Pre-Orders)
When backorder occurs is when we don't have the product in stock and will need to order it from our suppliers. This procedure generally takes 1 - 14 days for the stock to arrive at our warehouse. Usually when backorders occurs we will notify you the estimated time of arrival (ETA) by email or phone.

Order Modify / Cancellation
To cancel/modify an order please contact the Gocomp Staff by email.

Ordering Policy

Delivery & Return Policy
Your total cost for purchase of any product will include shipping and handling charges shown on the Gocomp invoice and before you place your order online.

Please note that customers are responsible for all freight charges for re-deliveries, incorrect delivery details and these are added to the invoice total.

Items unavailable (no stock)
Any items that are unavailable will be placed on back order, and the remainder of your order will be part shipped upon request. Please check our web site for the back ordered item's estimated time of arrival. Please note that these dates are estimates, and are not guaranteed to arrive on that date. Your product(s) will be promptly shipped as soon as the product arrives. No additional shipping fees will be charged.

Your account will be charged for the entire order, so that Gocomp can reserve the product and price for you. If this is not acceptable, you may cancel that portion of the order, and request an immediate credit

Risk of Loss
Gocomp Australia will arrange for shipment of ordered product(s) to the Customer, Free On Board (F.O.B.) shipping point, meaning title to the product(s) -- excepting software-- and risk of loss passes to the Customer upon delivery to the carrier. Gocomp Australia reserves a purchase money security interest in the product(s) until its receipt of the full amount due. Customer agrees to allow Gocomp Australia to sign appropriate documents on Customer's behalf to permit Gocomp Australia to protect its purchase money security interest. Title to software will remain with the licensor(s). All software is provided subject to the license agreement of the software maker. Customer agrees to be bound by any software license agreement once the seal on the package is broken. Gocomp Australia will advise Customer of estimated shipping dates, but Gocomp Australia will, under no circumstances, be responsible for delays in delivery, and associated damages, due to events beyond its reasonable control, including without limitation, acts of God or public enemy, acts of federal, state or local government, fire, floods, civil disobedience, strikes, lockouts, and freight embargoes.

Payment Policy

Payment Ways & Terms
Orders: An order is not binding upon Gocomp Australia until it is accepted & approved by Gocomp Australia; Gocomp Australia must receive payment before it will accept, approve & process an order. Payment for product(s) ordered is due prior to shipment & back orders (pre-order).

Gocomp Australia only accept payments made by;
• Credit or Debit Card
• Direct Deposit transfer only
• Cash
• BPAY


Credit Card Fee: We have 3% Credit Card Fee on VISA and Master Cards. For American Express Cards we have a 3.5% Credit Card fee.


Please note orders have not been paid or process within 10 days may be automatically cancelled.
Please note, we shall not reserve items against orders unless we receive specific intimation by email from a customer within 24 hours of placing an online order.

Product Information Policy

Price Protection
Our website is updated frequently to ensure that you'll view the latest products and correct pricing available, and that you receive all of the latest savings. At the time you make a purchase you agree to the listed price and that price are subject to change in some circumstances. These circumstances can occur when stock runs out of a particular product, or when specials ends etc.

We are unable to make a price adjustment after an order has been shipped. However, if you notify Gocomp Australia prior to the shipment of your order, we would be happy to make the price adjustment for you. Please note, that maybe misprints and human errors,

Gocomp reserve the right to make changes and corrections in prices, products and specifications without notice

Product Images and other Images
All product images on Gocomp Australia website may vary from the actual product. All typographical errors are subject to correction. Please note that images are only to be used as a point of reference.

Product Descriptions and Specifications
Please be assured that Gocomp make every effort to ensure product description accuracy, however specifications, features, documents and graphics published may contain technical inaccuracies or typographical errors. If an error is made or a product is listed at an incorrect price, Gocomp shall maintain the right to refuse or cancel any orders placed.

Incorrect Product Description
If an item received does not match the product description on the website for the item, the customer is able to return the product to us for a full refund or a replacement with the correct item.
You must inform us within a reasonable timeframe of the incorrect product received and we will arrange to refund or replace the incorrect item.

Webcrawlers (MyShopping, StaticIce, Google etc)
Gocomp.com.au does not accept any responsibility for errors made by companies such as MyShopping, StaticIce etc who retrieve data from our site and list it on their own. It is the end users responsibility to ensure that what they are ordering is correct. If you have any questions concerning a product please do not hesitate to contact us, please keep in mind we do not refund or exchange for incorrect purchases.

Other Policy

Governing Law and Jurisdiction
Any dispute arising out of or related to these Terms and Conditions or the sales transaction between Gocomp Australia and Customer shall be governed by the laws of the State of Queensland or as defined by the Fair Trading Act, without regard to its conflicts of law rules. The Customer also agrees not to bring any legal action, based upon any legal theory including contract, tort, and equity or otherwise, against Gocomp Australia that is more than one year after the date of the applicable invoice.

Severability
If any provision contained in this agreement is or becomes invalid, illegal, or unenforceable in whole or in part, such invalidity, illegality, or unenforceability shall not affect the remaining provisions and portions of this agreement, and the invalid, illegal, or unenforceable provision shall be deemed modified so as to have the most similar result that is valid and enforceable under applicable law.

Waiver
The failure of either party to require performance by the other party of any provision of this agreement shall not affect in any way the first party's right to require such performance at any time thereafter. Any waiver by either party of a breach of any provision in this agreement shall not be taken or held by the other party to be a continuing waiver of that provision unless such waiver is made in writing.

Entire Agreement
These terms and conditions, together with the Gocomp’s invoice respecting the products ordered by Customer, are the complete and exclusive agreement between Gocomp and Customer, and they supersede all prior or contemporaneous proposals, oral or written, understandings, representations, conditions, warranties, and all other communications between Gocomp and Customer relating to the subject products. This agreement may not be explained or supplemented by any prior course of dealings or trade by custom or usage.

Limitation of Liability
IN ALL CIRCUMSTANCES Gocomp Australia MAXIMUM LIABILITY IS LIMITED TO THE PURCHASE PRICE OF THE PRODUCTS SOLD. Gocomp Australia SHALL NOT, UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES, BE LIABLE UPON A CLAIM OR ACTION IN CONTRACT, TORT, INDEMNIFY OR CONTRIBUTION, OR OTHER CLAIMS RELATING TO THE PRODUCTS IT SELLS WHICH EXCEEDS THIS LIABILITY LIMIT. Gocomp SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR THIRD PARTY CLAIMS FOR DAMAGES AGAINST THE CUSTOMER, OR FOR MALFUNTION, DELAYS, INTERRUPTION OF SERVICE, LOSS OF BUSINESS, LOSS OR DAMAGE TO EXEMPLARY DAMAGES, WHETHER OR NOT Gocomp Australia IS APPRIASED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH CLAIMS OR DAMAGES.
